I never said I'd do this thing everyday! Here's an update on my journey:
Its been a struggle the last few weeks, between our car issues (Jon's car is no more, we have a new one), being sick and stress. The good news is that I have not gained any weight, but the bad new is I haven't lost any either. I'm going back and forth between 261 and 262. My activity level hasn't been the greatest either. Two weeks straight I didn't go to the gym at all, last week I went once and so far this week I went yesterday and did an at home work out (toning) this morning. As far as eating, I took myself off the phentermine for a little bit because it isn't working as well as it used to. That is typical, many patients on the med seem to see a plateau after loosing some weight. I have a feeling that this will not be the only plateau I hit. Actually I think its the same one I've been on for awhile. Jon and I are having pics taken for holiday cards in a couple weeks so I'm hoping to dig in to lightening up the calories and upping the activity level to hopefully give my weight loss a boost. I'm sooo close to 50lbs lost I can feel it.
As far as clothing goes, I can't really wear my size 26's anymore I am constantly pulling them up. As far as the 24's go, they are starting to do the same. Its a good thing, but annoying because I just bought a pair of 24's and I guess I'm going to have to go get a pair of 22's! The last time I was in 22's was before Jon and I got married.
Fall is my favorite season. The crisp air, the apple cider, lighting the fireplace...but it brings the holiday season. Last year I gained two pounds over the holidays and was able to quickly loose it after all the rich foods were gone. I am hoping this year will be better!
