Its not what you think..really. Jon and I got our first electric bill yesterday, and it seems living on the third floor really takes a toll. With all of this heat, our AC apparently has been running a lot. So, we are unplugging all of the non-essentials while we aren't using like the laptop, entertainment center (tv/dvd player), phone chargers, appliances etc. Whatever we aren't using that isn't essential to say, keeping our food cold or letting us know what time it is.
Back to the topic at hand. Good news is I didn't have to force myself to do my routine this morning, even though I am running a little behind in my schedule. Normally by now I would be in the shower. I'm feeling pretty good about it all right now, loosing those 2lbs is helping to keep me going this week. The smoothie worked pretty well at keeping me full yesterday so I think I am going to keep that up, although it may get expensive if we don't get some rain soon.
Jon and I are also cutting out any non-essential expenses. We are wanting to go on a nice vacation next year, and with groceries and gas going back up ( and internet too) we need to cut back. We won't be going to Blue Springs or his parents' house as often, just once a week. I feel blessed that my work is right down the street and a tank of gas for me lasts almost two weeks. We also decided to cut out on the eating out except for once a week when we go out with my parents for lunch on Sundays.
I am so thankful and feel so blessed that I have so many people cheering me on in this long journey and I thank all of you so much for it. Here is to four weeks and counting. *hugs*
