Yesterday Jon and I went to the Missouri State Fair and my legs were so sore after walking all that time. Besides being sore I was tired and my stomach was bothering me. It was a mix of sun exposure, not enough water and yucky food. I had planned on breaking my no sweets, no bread thing yesterday and I also broke the no pop. My tummy did not like the fried food I am not used to eating. I think next time we will take a picnic and not do the carnival foods. (I don't know why we didn't do that in the first place)
This morning I am doing some toning at home, I had some things to get done around the apartment this morning. My morning snack is my new favorite, almond milk. I am also trying greek yogurt for the first time this morning after my workout. Hensley is running around like a mad cat, I wish I had about half the energy he has right now. You'd think after running around playing half the night it'd be nap time, but not quite yet. I am sure he will start napping after I leave for work.
I'm back on the no bread, no sweets, no pop and I am starting a lower calorie eating plan. The fridge is full of fruit, healthy snacks and the pantry is full of yummy foods to throw together healthy dinners quickly.For lunch today, a salad with grilled chicken. For dinner tonight, leftover tacos for Jon and a taco salad for me. one of the things I am excited about trying is a recipe for some cilantro infused rice for a Chipolte-like burrito bowl.
