Wake up- 6:30am; get dressed and feed cat
Workout- at the gym by 7:00am; 20 to 30 minute workout
Breakfast- no later than 7:30am
Get ready for work- no later than 8:30am
Leave for work- no later than 9:15am
Ok that's my morning routine. In my workout, I do at least 10 minutes on the treadmill. I want to increase that time to 15 minutes, and start having an incline. After that I do 3 different weight lifts at at least 20 reps (I did 30 this morning) on each arm. I am trying so hard to get rid of that nasty under arm fat! Then I do 20 crunches on the medicine ball, I want to increase those too.
Yesterday, my new breakfast worked pretty well for me as far as hunger. I had almond milk after my workout and then at work after the kids had their breakfast snack, I had my Oikos greek yogurt (strawberry fruit on the bottom). I am going to do the same thing today, different yogurt though. Now that I figured out I like greek yogurt, I wanted to try the other two brands (Fage and Chobani).
I was really really tempted to have some of the ice cream that's sitting in the freezer, I resisted that temptation and had some almond milk to curve the sweet craving. I do have to admit that Jon wanted to go to the gym with me last night but we had just eaten dinner and it didn't feel right going to the gym right after eating.
Tonight I am looking forward to spending some time with Granny and Pa playing cards. We are having pizza for dinner but I will be scraping the toppings off the crust so I can save my "free day" for the weekend.
